Mike Prokopeak is vice president and editor in chief for Human Capital Media, publisher of Chief Learning Officer, Talent Economy and Workforce magazines. In that role, he directs content for the magazines as well as the company’s online and in-person events including the CLO Symposium and CLO Breakfast Clubs.
Prokopeak has a proven track record of editorial achievement over nearly two decades in journalism and publishing. Under his direction, Human Capital Media has won more than two dozen awards for editorial excellence.
Prior to joining Human Capital Media, he held a number of roles with leading publishing companies such as Houghton Mifflin Co. and the Great Books Foundation. He began his career in journalism as a reporter for Northern Arizona’s Mountain Living Magazine in Flagstaff (Arizona) and worked his way up to editor in chief, eventually taking on general manager responsibilities for the magazine and its sister publication, Flagstaff Live, both owned by Pulitzer Newspapers Inc. In that role, he directed the editorial, design, advertising and events departments. A former high school teacher and U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, Prokopeak brings in-depth experience in publishing as well as continuing education to Human Capital Media.
Monica Guillory is Director HR and Workplace Inclusion for RRD, a $7 billion global, integrated communications provider enabling organizations to create, manage, deliver and optimize their multichannel business communications. Her responsibilities include leading Diversity & Inclusion for RRD as well as the Human Resources function for its Logistics platform. Her expertise includes leadership development, diversity & inclusion workplace strategies, culture transformation and motivating teams for sustainable results.
Monica is a recipient of a Leadership Excellence Award by the National Diversity Council in 2015 and Community Service Pillar Award by the Valley View School District. Monica serves as Vice President of the Board for the IL Diversity Council, Board Member of Empowering Women Network (EWN), Director on the Workforce Investment Board of Will County, and an inaugural Board member for Emerging Life Solutions, Inc (ELS) a non-profit agency working to house and educate homeless youth. She founded an award-winning Corporate Women’s Mentoring Program. She frequently is invited to speak on topics such as inclusive leadership, workplace culture, engaging employees and building and leveraging social capital.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Houston and is a senior certified Human Resources professional.
Casper Moerck has an established global career as a leader in the learning space. He has consulted on learning, training and onboarding for large companies for years and has worked in the renewable energy sector for companies like Vestas, being responsible for global new hire onboarding as well as training for the Northern European region.
His career has exposed him to most aspects of learning from instructional design of new hire programs, sales, LEAN and leadership programs to strategy development, learning process and infrastructure optimization and corporate university development.
He currently works for Siemens, where he is responsible for infrastructure and learning technology in the Americas. Moerck holds a master’s degree in psychology and an MBA from University of Roskilde in Denmark.

Mozden consults with organizations on custom talent solutions for their real business challenges, and on competitive strategies for gaining an edge with a diverse, upskilled, engaged workforce.
